I would say the downside is the crowds here can vary; there was a family allowing their kids to run around like it was a playground, almost tripping people carrying drinks, not to mention one kid was walking around completely naked in front of everyone (quite disturbing…). Not exactly much etiquette and common sense at a pub filled with adults… Shame because this isn’t a reflection on the business, but patrons certainly made the experience here awkward. - Nick Muller Added December 19, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★The Wheaty is a great place to go have a beer and see some local live bands. They had a wood fired pizza truck out front with some beautiful pizzas on the go, the beers are certainly different but yummy none the less. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the environment was kid friendly as there were some families there watching the bands. Scala host the bands are so a fantastic job, sound was brilliant and the show flowed very nicely. So if you haven't been there yet, pop in for a beer and live music.

Myself and my friend came here several years back and loved sitting by the fire drinking amazing craft beers brewed on-site.
Come back every time we come to Adelaide, met Jade the brewer who not only makes incredible beers but is extremely friendly and welcoming, along with the awesome staff.
